I just read another remarkable overcoming story. This one about Mel Tillis, a country singer and comic
“When I first started school I came home one day and asked my momma, ‘Do I stutter?’” he said during a phone interview, periodically pausing to get out the words. “She said, ‘Yes, you do son.’ I said to her, ‘But momma, they laughed at me. What should I do?’ She said, ‘Son, if they laugh, give ’em something to laugh about.’
To take your struggle and to turn use it as a launching pad to success is remarkable. It is remarkable that more people ARE NOT doing it.
Some people who don’t move forward are afraid of failing, yet consider what you are already giving up by NOT trying!
Each day that you let slip by you is another day that your regrets in life are piling up.
When I dug down into my struggles, I found bedrock upon which I could stand. My faith is God through Jesus Christ is the reason that I can move forward.
Who you are is vastly more significant that what you do.
Remember that and you will be successful.
Blessings on your journey!
